I’m planning to reward myself after ranking up last night. Figured a new AWP skin would be the perfect way to do it. Mortis has been on my radar for a while now. So I’ve decided to treat myself to a new AWP skin, and I’m leaning toward Mortis. It’s got that gothic vibe without being over the top. Problem is, I’ve heard a lot of people say they didn’t get what they expected after buying. How do I avoid that?

Totally get where you're coming from. If you're going to spend real money, it has to be worth it. I’ve had my fair share of bad buys. That’s a legit concern. I’ve bought skins before where the float was way worse than listed, or it just looked off in-game. You want a site that shows you exactly what you’re getting—not just a generic photo. That kind of transparency is rare.

I used to rely on big marketplaces without realizing how often they mislead buyers. Now I always try to buy from places that actually show what I’ll receive. That one change made a huge difference. That’s why I started using https://dmarket.com/csgo-skins/product-card/awp-mortis when I was looking for Mortis myself. The site lets you browse real listings, see the float and wear, and compare prices side by side. I found a great deal on a Battle-Scarred version that still looked solid and fit my budget. The best part? No surprises when I launched CS and equipped it. It looked exactly like the preview. 10/10 would recommend if you want to avoid the usual guesswork.
